4. Prohibited Content & Activities

To maintain a positive and lawful environment, the following types of content and activities are strictly prohibited on Starseed Social:

• Illegal Content: Any content or activity that violates local, national, or international laws. This includes, but is not limited to, promoting illegal acts, offering illegal goods or services, or sharing information that facilitates illegal activities.
• Hate Speech & Harassment: Content that promotes violence, incites hatred, discrimination, disparagement, or harassment against individuals or groups based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, serious disease or disability, or immigration status. This includes targeted harassment, bullying, doxxing, and threats.
• Nudity & Sexually Explicit Content:
  • Pornography and graphically explicit depictions of sexual acts.
  • Non-consensual sexual content of any kind.
  • Content that sexually exploits or endangers children. There is ZERO tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). Such content will be removed immediately, the account terminated, and reported to law enforcement authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
  • While artistic or educational nudity may be considered, the context must be clear and non-exploitative. The Platform reserves the right to determine what crosses this line.
• Violence & Graphic Content:
  • Direct or indirect threats of violence against individuals or groups.
  • Glorification or incitement of violence.
  • Excessively gory or shocking content intended to disgust or disturb, outside of legitimate news reporting or documentary contexts where appropriate warnings are provided.
• Spam & Deceptive Practices: Unsolicited commercial messages, phishing, spreading malware, and engaging in practices designed to deceive or mislead other users for financial or personal gain.
• Impersonation: Impersonating individuals, groups, or organizations in a manner that is intended to or does mislead, confuse, or deceive others. Parody and satire are generally permissible if clearly marked and not intended to deceive.
• Copyright & Intellectual Property Infringement: Sharing content that you do not own or have the rights to share, thereby infringing on the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others.
• Misinformation & Disinformation (Harmful): While we support open discussion, the deliberate creation and spread of verifiably false information that has the potential to cause significant harm to individuals, groups, or public safety may be subject to review.
• Platform Abuse: Activities that disrupt or interfere with the normal operation of Starseed Social, such as creating multiple accounts for abusive purposes, using automated scripts to interact with the platform in unintended ways, or attempting to compromise the security of the platform or other users' accounts.

5. User Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the content you post and your interactions with other users.
• You agree to use Starseed Social in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations and these Terms.
• Protect your account credentials and be mindful of the information you share publicly.

6. Enforcement & Moderation

While we strive for minimal intervention, Starseed Social reserves the right, but not the obligation, to monitor content and user activity. We may take action against accounts or content that violate these Terms, including:

• Removing offending content.
• Issuing warnings to users.
• Temporarily suspending accounts.
• Permanently terminating accounts.
• Reporting illegal activities to law enforcement authorities.

Decisions regarding enforcement will be made at our sole discretion, aiming for fairness and consistency with these guidelines.

The views expressed by users on the Platform are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views of Starseed Social.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Starseed Social shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service; (b) any conduct or content of any third party on the service; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
